WELCOME TO THEN AND AGAIN

We wanted a solution for those whose tastes exceed their budget. We refurbished a 100+ year old house and have filled it with beautiful things. Fine furniture, china, glassware, vintage jewelry handmade specialty items, and dolls are among the items rescued from estate sales, auctions, and the purchase of whole estates awaiting appreciative new owners.

We have always loved antiques and dreamed of setting up a shop in an old house, keeping the themes of each room intact. Years ago we started collecting items and then purchased the Italianate style house in 1998. After 2 years of extensive renovations, the business opened in November 2000. True to the vision, you can browse each room, admire the architecture and the items selected to furnish it. For example, the kitchen and dining room hold china utensils, Depression glass and serving ware, while the bedrooms are stocked with vintage linens.

New furniture is so expensive; we suggest that you consider recycled fine items. The wood on the furniture is beautiful and the craftsmanship exceptional. We locate such pieces, then clean and polish them so they are ready for use. We always have entire suites available for several rooms, all at affordable prices. Soak in the surroundings of the antique artwork and check out stunning period lighting pieces to complement any decor.

We are not the typical antique shop, all items are in excellent condition and beautifully presented in comfortable conditions. We have an extensive selection of jewelry, aged from 1900 to present. The collection features some gold and silver, and pieces handcrafted in exquisite detail.

We also feature new and vintage clothing at the shop next door. And forever features clothing from as far back as the turn of the century to fashions of today. Many name brands are available at modest prices. We also feature a selection of new clothes and accessories, which we hand select from dealers from all over the country.
